European gamers have been waiting a long time for Persona 4 Arena. Importing is out of the question since publisher Atlus slapped a region lock on the title. Thus European fans have had no choice but to wait for Zen United to distribute Persona 4 Arena throughout Europe. Things thankfully appear to be moving along.
The company published an update on its Facebook page and thanked fans for their patience. Zen United has received the PS3 version of the European release, and the Xbox 360 version is just behind. As soon as it has both, Zen United will submit Persona 4 Arena to Sony and Microsoft.
Zen United said : We have now taken delivery of the PS3 EU version of Persona 4 Arena, and we are expecting the Xbox version soon.
Once we have both, the next step will be to submit P4A to Sony and Microsoft. At this stage, we’ll be able to estimate a likely release window for you guys – and once it’s been approved by both platform holders, we’ll be able to give you a realistic street date.
We will, of course, let you know what stage we are in this process so you can have a clearer idea of when the release date is likely to be.
Again, thank you for your patience…
