Sony Reports $198M Loss for Q2 2012

During the second quarter of this fiscal year Sony lost ¥15.5 billion ($198 million) according to their own financial report posted today. Believe it or not this is actually an improvement over the first quarter in which the company took a $312 million loss, and overall their revenue is up to $20.6 billion because of their increased foray into the mobile market.

Their gaming, music, and picture divisions are still losing a bit of money each quarter, but as their loses shrink month over month they’re heading into the green as time pushes further forward.
