A Vita version of Borderlands 2 still isn’t completely out of the question. Gearbox president Randy Pitchford told IGN that his studio wouldn’t be able to make the port by itself, but still showed a great deal of interest in the idea.
Pitchford said : “If some other studio was capable and could be trusted by us, and by a publishing partner, and by Sony, and someone wanted to invest in making that happen? I think Sony should step up and make that happen.”
One big reason for Pitchford’s interest in Borderlands 2 on Vita is because he sees big potential in cloud saving with the PS3 game.
