One Piece Kaizoku Musou, One Piece Pirate Warriors - Western Localization Confirmed ?

Namco Bandai and Tecmo Koei’s One Piece: Kaizoku Musou has yet to be confirmed outsite Japan, but a new trademark filing from Namco Bandai in Europe today may hint at its western release.

Dragon Quest X - Spells, Enemies and 9 New Screenshots

Dragon Quest X , the first game in the series to become an MMORPG, has a battle system that looks similar to the rest of the series. The difference is, in DQX it works more like Final Fantasy's Active Time Battle system, where the action takes place in real-time, but you still input commands when your character's turn is up.

You'll need to keep allies' and enemies' distance in mind when casting spells, but if they're not within range... you can always push them in. Of course, this is only possible if your character (armour included) weighs more than the one being shoved. Also introduced was one of the game's jobs, an entertainer. They can wield polearms, fans and daggers and have moves like Hustle Dance which recovers the party's HP.

Final Fantasy X Vita, PS3 HD Remake Is Early In Development

The re-release of Final Fantasy X is still early on in development. Final Fantasy XIII-2 -producer Yoshinori Kitase shared this update with German magazine M!Games. Though it is unclear whether he is involved in that development, he thinks he will work on it because he will "ensure that the remake will have the same quality as the original."

It's worth noting Kitase uses the German word "neuauflage," which can be directly translated to "remake," "new edition," or "new issue."

Final Fantasy X was announced for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita at the Tokyo Game Show a few months ago. The game is expected to arrive in Japan next year.

Epic Mickey 2 Coming 2012 for PS3, 360 and Wii ?

A newsletter circulated by Disney indicates that Epic Mickey 2 will be announced in the future. While the newsletter has since been edited, it originally stated that the game would be hitting Wii, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in Fall 2012. Interestingly, the notice contained the same exact blurb found in a survey posted back in August.

The following was found inside the newsletter before it was edited:

“Disney Epic Mickey 2 is the latest game in the critically acclaimed Disney Epic Mickey videogame series. In this all-new action-platforming game available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii, Mickey embarks on an epic journey and is pulled back into a world filled with Disney’s forgotten characters. Players can choose to play single-player as Mickey or for the first time players can also choose 2-player split screen mode. In the 2 player mode one person can play as Mickey wielding magic paint and paint thinner to dynamically change the world and the second player can play as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit – Walt Disney’s first cartoon star – with the power to fly like a helicopter and use electricity to fight or friend enemies and solve challenges. Team-up and choose your path to save this forgotten world because the choices you make will alter the story and change the end of the game!”

At this point, Epic Mickey 2 seems like a foregone conclusion. The first title sold very well and bringing the franchise to other platforms wouldn’t be the least bit surprising.
