Ni no Kuni PS3 Gets A Special Hardware Bundle

The PlayStation 3 version of Ni no Kuni finally got a release date last week. As detailed then, the long awaited console version of the tie-up between Level-5 and Studio Ghibli is due on November 17th.
Level-5 forgot to mention one bit about the game's release: a hardware bundle is on the way! Famitsu has a first look this week as the PS3 Ni no Kuni Magical Edition bundle. This bundle includes a special PS3 colored a mix of white and magical gold (presumably like the game's logo).
The bundle is priced 33,780 yen. The game on its own is priced 8,800 yen.

Persona 5 Uses New Internal Engine And Long Wait Ahead

In an interview discussing Persona 4 The Golden and Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka, producer Katsura Hashino said that preliminary development for Persona 5 (which he referred to as "the next numbered title") is nearly complete. From here, the staff will advance into the actual development process.
The key players are returning for Persona 5. Hashino is director. Shigenori Soejima is character designer, and Shouji Meguro is main composer.
They've solidified the themes they'd like to cover in the game. The staff wants to challenge more new things compared to even Persona 3.
Hashino shared one technical bit about P5. For Catherine, Team Persona made use of a third party engine. They've since completed work on their own engine. With this new internal engine, Hashino believes that converting their ideas into game form will go considerably smooth.
However, he warned that he expects a lengthy wait until release.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Moogle

On her quest to find Lightning, Serah is accompanied by a Noel and a moogle named Mog who was originally mistaken for a plush toy. Mog can transform into a bow and sword, weapons Serah uses to fight monsters. The sword is Serah’s close range weapon and can launch enemies in the air. As a bow, Mog and Serah can hit enemies from far away. Mog also helps Serah find secret treasure. The pom-pom on his head is actually a crystal and it glows when hidden loot is nearby. Press R1 or RB when Mog lights up and he will search for items. You can throw Mog too. That’s the only way to get some out of reach treasure boxes. You can do this by pressing L1 [PS3] or LB [360] to grab Mog, then move the analog stick to aim. Press R1 [PS3] or RB [360] to lob Mog who shouts Kupooo and returns with goodies. Players will revisit Yaschas Massif in Final Fantasy XIII-2. The rugged Gran Pulse land has scientists exploring the Paddra Ruins. During the game, an eclipse occurs and floodlights are put up so work can continue. This area also has some kind of giant head in the lower left hand area, which was excavated by the research team.
